Recruitment Marketing Costs: Scope Job Content, Positions and Ongoing Support

A recruitment marketing quote should distinguish the people you want to hire from the vacancies that need different content and operating conditions. Several hires may share one role description. A similar job title may need separate material when responsibilities, locations or working arrangements differ.

Begin with a list of roles and the facts your company can approve. Then decide what to outsource: organizing the message, writing job content, supporting publication or reviewing performance over time. Keep media charges, recruitment agency fees and selection administration separate from content and marketing support.

Use distinct vacancies as the planning unit

For each vacancy, document the work, team, required experience, confirmed conditions and selection process. Identify shared information and information that must change for each role. This gives a supplier a realistic picture of the content required instead of a hiring target that does not describe the work.

  • Responsibilities: the tasks and decisions the person will own.
  • Requirements: essential experience versus preferences.
  • Conditions: approved location, working arrangements and employment details.
  • Evidence: concrete examples that explain the appeal of the role.
  • Selection: the contact point and what happens after an application.

Replace broad claims such as “lots of responsibility” with examples of decisions and work. Have the hiring team check the description as well as the recruitment owner. If the published role and the team’s expectations differ, later conversations may create a different impression from the advertisement.

Choose which work belongs in the quote

Writing from information you supply

If requirements and conditions are approved, you can request a defined writing task. Specify the publication channels, content limits, images, file format and review process. Your internal owner remains responsible for confirming the accuracy of job information before publication.

Developing the message and structure

If the team has not decided how to explain the role, include planning before drafting. Reviewing internal documents, discussing responsibilities and separating related roles can be necessary work. Ask whether this is included. Use claims your company can substantiate rather than copying a competitor’s recruitment language.

Supporting publication and recurring review

Agree who registers the content, updates conditions and reviews results. Views, applications, applicants who can be contacted, interviews and hires are different stages. Align periods and channel definitions when comparing figures. Record changes in requirements or timing rather than attributing every change to the wording alone.

Separate additional production and outside expenses

Employee interviews, photography, a recruitment website and work across many locations should be discussed separately from job copy based on supplied information. Interviews need scheduling and review. Photographs need an agreed use. A website requires decisions about pages, functions and publication responsibilities.

List job-board charges, paid promotion, recruitment software and agency fees separately where relevant. State who contracts and pays for each item. Do not assume that marketing support includes candidate correspondence, scheduling, interviews or the entire selection process. Those responsibilities need their own agreement.

Give the internal team a clear role

Your company should approve why it is hiring, what work is required, the employment conditions and the selection process. A supplier can organize and produce material from those decisions, and support agreed marketing activity. Name a hiring-team reviewer and one final approver so that feedback does not cycle indefinitely.

Plan the stages before the desired publication date: requirements, draft, review and registration. Decide who updates the material when conditions change. When sharing employee or candidate information, confirm the purpose, access and storage arrangements under your internal procedures.

Two briefs with different work behind them

Example A: improve a vacancy with settled requirements. Human resources supplies approved information and assets. The supplier prepares content for the agreed channel. Photography, a new recruitment site and later changes are separate unless included explicitly. Use a review checklist to catch missing job or condition details before publication.

Example B: support several different roles over time. The company needs a message for each role and recurring checks after publication. Separate the vacancies, interview or photography needs, review work and media charges. More views do not guarantee hires, so include the company’s response and selection process in the review.

Prepare a practical request brief

  1. List vacancies with responsibilities, locations and approved conditions.
  2. State the hiring reason, desired timing and agreed requirements.
  3. Provide existing copy, company information, work examples and usable images.
  4. Name publication channels and the people responsible for accounts and updates.
  5. Identify interviews, photography, websites or other additional production.
  6. Name the reviewer, final approver and operating contact after launch.

Ask competing suppliers to use this same brief. Compare deliverables, revision arrangements, publication responsibilities and reporting. A lower figure may exclude planning or updates that another proposal includes. Make the distinction visible before deciding which offer fits.

Common questions

Should low application numbers always lead to a rewrite?

Content is one area to examine. First separate whether people see the vacancy, understand the requirements, can apply and receive a response. If the data is incomplete, do not limit the diagnosis to writing. Choose changes based on the facts you can verify.

Does the estimate guarantee a number of hires?

No hiring guarantee should be inferred from a content or operating estimate. Agree the material, updates and reports being delivered. Candidate selection, recruitment outsourcing and placement services are separate requirements whose availability and boundaries need confirmation.

Check the estimate using vacancy count and scope

Ficilcom’s recruitment marketing simulator asks for the support scope and number of target jobs or positions. The count refers to vacancies with different content or operating conditions, rather than the number of planned hires. It also distinguishes work using supplied information from employee interviews, photography, recruitment websites and large-scale requirements.

Use the options to organize your request, then confirm the detailed deliverables and exclusions. A preliminary estimate is not a promise of applications, hires or suitability for every recruitment requirement.

Check recruitment support scope and target vacancies

If the company message needs work first, see the branding guide. For a dedicated recruitment site, use the website scope guide.
